'Pentref' translates from Welsh to 'Village' - try rolling the 'r' in the middle and you'll be waxing local in no time! We are set in the rolling countryside village of Penuwch and have been inspired by this landscape. Our vision is to offer alternative accommodation for your holiday/breakaway with a touch of luxury and that 'done-for-you' convenience. Our private pitches are ready on arrival, allowing you to travel light, making it super easy for those spontaneous trips!

If you've not considered outdoor accommodation before - it's the best way to take in the local wildlife, history, geology and natural beauty of the countryside. It is also the eco-friendly option when it comes to choosing where to stay and you can easily travel to some incredible locations by bike, on foot or public transport.

The 'Honesty Shop' sells basic essentials including some local specialities, subject to availability. The shop is operated on an honour system, therefore remains open 24 hours.

There is some fantastic local food to try including a brilliant Gastro Pub - 'The Hungry Ram' right here in the village of Penuwch. Serving a great range catering for all tastes - with lovely veggie options too!
