Devils Bridge Falls is a world-famous tourist attraction 12 miles from Aberystwyth. These unique waterfalls have attracted many thousands of visitors since the 18th century, including William Wordsworth who wrote about the “Torrent at the Devil’s Bridge”. Today, the Falls Nature Trail provides a unique opportunity to see this great natural feature in the Rheidol Gorge.

There are two walks to choose from:

This walk takes a minimum of 45 minutes.
Difficult walk. 675 steep uneven natural stone steps.

This walk takes 10 minutes or so.
Moderate walk. 300 slate steps

The Waterfalls and Punchbowl are open all year.
Refreshments and food are available from the Hafod Hotel opposite the exit to the waterfalls walk.

Dogs must be kept on the lead.  If your dog is large then it may struggle to enter through the turnstile with you.  The steep steps are also difficult for dogs with short legs.

Climbing sessions are ideal for everyone, whether you're looking for your very first outdoor rock climbing experience or looking to improve your skills. Climbing sessions are suitable for all ages and are a great confidence builder.

More advanced sessions are available where you will learn how to 'lead climb' and nail your 'belaying' technique. Alongside this you will learn more technical skills and techniques to really improve your climbing ability and knowledge.

Whilst climbers use abseiling out of necessity to get to the bottom of climbs most people consider it to be an interesting activity in itself. Groups can be taken on Abseiling sessions throughout the South/West Wales area.

Working as a team with a trained guide, you’ll negotiate the cauldron, surf the wave in preparation for the steep drop finale of Henllan falls.
